Check-in is from 8am - Noon. New students begin on the west side of Cooper Hall. You must check-in before you can receive your dorm key.

Before You Arrive

You will be issued a Student email address, and MySterling log in information. Once you have received this information you may complete the following:

  • Complete Admissions File: Request all final and official transcripts/scores
    All final, official transcripts and scores must be received by the time you arrive to campus. Contact Emily Fuller at emily.fuller@sterling.edu if you have questions.
     
  • Student Health Form: Complete and submit immunization records
    The campus nurse must keep this confidential form along with a copy of your immunization records on file. Contact our Campus Nurse at nurse@sterling.edu with questions. You may mail or email the form and your records to us.
     
  • E2Campus Emergency Alert Sign-Up: https://forms.gle/RBBLg3wEQdPhSpp66
    Sign up to receive severe weather and emergency related alerts.
     
  • Complete Online Student Profile: Complete the student profile found on mySterling
    • Log in to your mySterling account.
    • Click on ‘Students’ Tab.
      Click on ‘Student Profile Form.’

       
  • Complete Online Shield Training: Complete the online Title IX shield training found in your SC email
    • Log in to your Sterling College email.
    • Click on email from Vector Solutions.
    • Complete Shield Training, which is a required campus awareness/bystander training. The entire training will take an estimated 20-30 minutes.
  • Complete Online Intercultural Training: Complete this online training found in your SC email.
    • This training will be sent to your SC email from Sterling College.
       
  • Finalize Financial Aid: For questions, contact your enrollment counselor or call 620-278-4206.
    • Accept/decline aid on mySterling
    • If using Federal Direct loans, complete MPN & loan entrance counseling at studentaid.gov.
       
  • Finalize Student Account: Make payment in full or set up a payment plan.

*If you attend a Sterling College Jump Start day, you will likely complete most or all of these steps while on campus*

In order to be eligible for the drawing you must be enrolled for the fall and all these items must be completed by July 15th:
