Whether you're into leadership, journalism, history or board games, we have an organization where you'll fit right in. And if we don't, you can work with the Student Government Association (SGA) to create your own! The members of SGA are elected officials who act as the voice of the students and organizations to the administration, and CAB (Campus Activity Board) members plan and oversee a large portion of Sterling College's student events. The Intramural Department at Sterling College strives to provide a broad, competitive variety of physical and social activities designed to meet the interests of the students, faculty and staff of SC.
Participants have an opportunity to choose from various team sports and individual activities. The program offers equal opportunity for participation to both genders, regardless of their ability or skills. Sportsmanship is important for every Intramural Sports contest.
The Intramural Department expects desirable attitudes, good sportsmanship and a high standard of cooperation. Officials, teammates and opponents all deserve each other’s respect and courteous behavior. Players must recognize that these are not varsity sports. There are no professional coaches or officials. Intramural games will be what participants make of them.
