The Sterling College Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda chapter spent February 13 competing at the State Leadership Conference in Salina, Kansas, hosted by Fort Hays State University. Pitted against other college students from across Kansas in their knowledge of business practices and skills, the Sterling College students brought home 13 awards.

The 2014 calendar year set a new record for the Sterling College Athletic Training Program. Leading the entire state with seven students awarded First Team All-Academic Honors, the Kansas Athletic Trainers’ Society recognized 10 Sterling College students for their outstanding academic achievement. Based on 2014 grade point averages and academic standing, KATS recognized 96 students from across the state of Kansas who attend athletic training programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
