Sterling College named 200 students to the spring Dean’s Honor Roll for 2016. Students recognized are those who completed the semester with a 3.5 GPA or better in at least 12 credits of residential work or 10 credits of online work. Eligible students did not receive an F or incomplete in any course.
Students named to the spring 2016 Dean’s Honor Roll include:
Melissa Rose Abousamra of Hutchinson, Kansas,
Anna Elizabeth Adamyk of McPherson, Kansas,
James Hacher Aghbashian Jr. of Ontario, California,
Dennis Dutton received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals.

Dennis Dutton ’82, vice president for enrollment, has worked for the Office of Admissions at Sterling College for over 30 years and on Wednesday, June 1, was recognized with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals. The award was presented at the annual NACCAP conference, held this year in Upland, Indiana.
The Sterling College Warrior baseball team finished its record-breaking season, finishing fifth in the final coaches’ poll of the season.

The Sterling College Warrior baseball team finished its record-breaking season, finishing fifth in the final coaches’ poll of the season. The Warrior baseball team set a school record for wins during their 52-16 season, which included winning the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and National Opening Round Championship en route to a Avista-National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics World Series appearance.
