Kansas State Fair patrons were treated to some of the best competitive speakers in the state at the third High School Forensics Showcase, presented by Sterling College. The event was held on Thursday, Sept. 13, in the Hansen Auditorium on the fairgrounds and was hosted and organized by Sterling College Debate and Forensics. Over 550 audience members were in attendance.

The Sterling High School arts triumvirate of Larry Brownlee ’80, Clark Comley ’88 and Betsy Dutton ’82 are being inducted to the Sterling College Arts Hall of Fame this Homecoming, along with posthumous awards for Gordon and Rae Zahradnik.
Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 4, alumni will travel back to Sterling College to experience the Homecoming 2018 festivities

Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 4, alumni will travel back to Sterling College to experience the Homecoming 2018 festivities, many of which the community is invited to attend. Thursday night, beginning at 7:30 p.m., Sterling College will present the opening of “Big Fish”in Culbertson Auditorium. Dr. Erin Laudermilk has begun her new responsibilities as the associate vice president for academic affairs.

Sterling College announced that Dr. Erin Laudermilk of Sterling, Kansas, has begun her new responsibilities as the associate vice president for academic affairs. In addition to her new position, Laudermilk will continue as a professor of athletic training at the College.
Her position will assist the vice president for academic affairs with leadership, operations, and responsibilities within the Office of Academic Affairs.
