Love Sterling is an annual event where Sterling College students, faculty and staff thank the community for their continual support of the College and its events. This year about 250 volunteers signed up to complete 25 projects around town, donating over 1100 hours of service.
The Sterling United Methodist Church will host the Sterling College Chorale Masterworks concert on Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m. This is the final concert for seniors in Chorale, Highland Singers and Concert Choir.
The 35th Annual Sterling College Honors Convocation will be hosted Friday, April 27 at 11 a.m. in Culbertson Auditorium on the Sterling College campus. Inaugurated in 1977, the Honors Convocation is a chance to recognize Sterling College students with awards and scholarships.
The Sterling College Community Band will perform their spring concert on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Upper Wilson on the campus of Sterling College. The band is composed of students from Sterling College and members of the community.
One of the most storied players in Kansas University Jayhawks basketball history, Wayne Simien, will speak at a Sterling College chapel service on Wednesday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Culbertson Auditorium on the Sterling College campus.
The third annual Love Sterling event will take place on Saturday, April 28, starting at 9:00 a.m. Love Sterling was started as a way for the students, faculty, and staff of Sterling College to give back to the community that has supported them for so long.
