Sterling, Kan. - Southwestern Christian came into Sterling on Tuesday evening with the goal to knock off the Lady Warrior Soccer Team. Southwestern Christian failed in their goal as the Warriors defeated Southwestern Christian rather easily by a score of 4-0.
Today's men's soccer match at Manhattan Christian has been postponed due to thunderstorms in the Manhattan area. The game will be played on September 30th at 6:00pm at Frank Anneburg Park in Manhattan, KS.
Sterling, Kan. - On Tuesday night at the Gleason Center, the Lady Warrior Volleyball Team earned their first Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference victory of the season. The Lady Warriors beat the Moundbuilders from Southwestern College in four sets.
Sterling, Kan. - Sterling College won their second game of the season on Saturday afternoon over the Bobcats from Peru State College (Neb.). In the game at Smisor Stadium, the Warriors used a late fourth quarter touchdown to take the victory 17-10.
Hutchinson, Kan. - Senior Whitney Dautel started off the weekend on the right note for the Warriors with an individual title and her first win of the season at the Hutchinson Blue Dragon Invitational. With only a skeleton crew of the women's team running on Saturday in Hutch in a shorter race (4k) than their normal 5k, the Lady Warriors still made a strong impression on the competition.
Wichita, Kan. - For the second straight week, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has named Sterling College forward, Kylie Yates, the KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Yates used three matches to score six goals and also added one assist on the week.
Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced their second regular season Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll on Monday. The Warriors were ranked 25th in the poll coming off of two straight victories to start the season. Sterling College enters the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the first time since September 21, 2009.
