Members of the Women's Soccer team recently returned from Anchorage, Alaska, where they spent six days working with the Mountain View Boys and Girls Club and in local parks hosting soccer clinics for kids. The team left on July 22 and returned July 29.

Across the nation there is a shortage of special education teachers, and Sterling College is beginning an online adaptive special education program to help Kansas schools fill this need.
Sterling College has signed 19 new partnership agreements, known as the Guaranteed Admission Advantage, over the past year. These partnership agreements have been formed with 18 Kansas community colleges and with Hesston College. Dr. Gregory Kerr, vice president of academic affairs, crafted the agreement to give transfer students a seamless transition to Sterling College and Sterling College Online.
It is easy to spot a freshman in a college cafeteria as they wander around trying to learn the ropes. This fall, every student at Sterling College will look like a freshman as they learn to navigate the newly expanded and renovated cafeteria and menu options.
