The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) awarded the 2011 Sterling College Football Media Guide fifth place in the 2011-2012 NAIA-SIDA Football Brochure Publication Contest.

Hans Nickel, the Sterling College Sports Information Director put together the media guide with the help of the Sterling College Football Staff.

NAIA-SIDA holds publication contests annually in various categories. The fifth place finish is the highest finish for a Sterling College Media Guide in any category.

"I am honored that NAIA-SIDA chose to recognize our sports information work here at Sterling," said Nickel. "We are excited to continually improve how we serve our student athletes here at Sterling and will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do."
