Wichita, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has changed its 2010-11 Men's and Women's Basketball postseason format and moved the Championship finals to Hartman Arena, in Park City, Kansas.
For the first time, the KCAC is moving both the Men's and Women's Basketball Championship to a neutral site. ‘KCAC Hoops at Hartman Arena' will feature both games on February 28, 2011, with the men's final at 6:00 PM and the women's fin al at 8:00 PM.
The Sterling Chorale will perform the last concert of its annual spring tour this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Sterling. This is the same concert the Chorale took on a tour during Sterling’s spring break. There is no admission charge for the event.
Sterling, Kan. - Sterling College Assistant Athletic Director Shawn Reed will become the next head women's basketball coach at Tabor College (Kan.). Reed has been serving at Sterling College since 1997 with his most recent role being assistant athletic director, assistant professor of exercise science and servant leadership coordinator.
Victoria, Tex. - The Sterling College Warrior baseball team went 1-3 on a spring break series with the University of Houston-Victoria in Victoria, Texas over Sterling's spring break. Sterling played in three close games, all losses, before blowing out UHV in the final game 10-2. The Warriors are 12-11 so far in 2011 and 4-0 in the KCAC.
Hutchinson, Kan. - In the final game of the first day of the Sterling College Softball Tournament, the Sterling College Lady Warriors defeated the College of Saint Mary (Neb.) 7-3. The Lady Warriors used a six run fourth inning and a strong pitching performance from Courtney Bell to earn the victory.
Hutchinson, Kan. - The Sterling College Lady Warriors lost their opening game of the Sterling College Softball Tournament to Graceland University on Friday morning in Hutchinson, Kansas. Sterling was defeated 6-1 by a Graceland team that held Sterling scoreless after the first inning.
Sterling, Kan. - Former Sterling College football players held a reunion at the Grand Prairie Hotel and Convention Center in Hutchinson, Kansas from July 15 through July 17. Players came in from all over the country to reconnect and reminisce about old times playing at Sterling College.

Salina, Kan. - On Friday, August 6, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) held its football media day at Salina Country Club in Salina, Kansas to give the Kansas media the chance to interact with the KCAC football head coaches. Coach Andy Lambert represented Sterling College and spoke about the expectations of the coaching staff for the upcoming football season.
Kansas City, Kan. - Zach Goodrich of Sterling College has been named to the 2011 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball All-America Second Team for the first time. The NAIA announced the All-America Teams this afternoon on the NAIA website. Goodrich finished his playing career for Sterling this season.
