Concordia, Neb. - The Sterling College Women's Basketball Team dropped a close game to Concordia University in Concordia, Nebraska on Friday night. In a game that was back and forth, Concordia came out on top 65-59 to give the Sterling Women their first loss of the 2010-11 season.
Sterling, Kan. - On Senior Night in Sterling, Kansas, the Sterling College Warrior Football Team sent their ten senior members out with a bang. Sterling pounded the ground for over 400 yards rushing on their way to a 62-14 stomping of the Bethel College Threshers. With the win and the loss by Friends University earlier this afternoon, Sterling wrapped up sole possession of third place in the KCAC Final Standings.
Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Volleyball Team had three players earn All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Honors during the 2010 season. Brooke Denton earned First Team All-KCAC honors, Sara Steria earned Second Team All-KCAC honors, and Adriana Gonzalez earned All-KCAC Honorable Mention.
Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Men's Basketball Team scored on their opening possession in Tuesday night's game against Hastings College and never relinquish the lead, beating the Broncos 82-68 in front of the home crowd in the Gleason Center. Defense was the key for Sterling, as the Warriors scored 34 points off of turnovers in the game compared to Hastings' 18 points off of turnovers.
Sterling, Kan. - #3 Bellevue University came into the Gleason Center on Friday night and was immediately engaged in a fierce battle with the Sterling College Warriors. The Bruins would use every trick up their sleeve to escape with an 81-75 victory over Sterling. Sterling engaged Bellevue from the tip and forced the Bruins to earn the victory on the Warriors home floor.
Sterling, Kan. - In their first game of the 2010 Warrior Classic, the Sterling College Women's Basketball team beat Southwestern Assemblies of God University by a score of 69-56. The Lady Warriors used hot shooting from behind the three point arc to bury SAGU. Sterling was 7/15 from behind the arc for 21 points.

Sterling, Kan. - Former Sterling College Warriors assistant basketball coach Sean Gillespie brought his Union College team into the Gleason Center on Saturday in defeated the Warriors 63-56 in the final game of the 2010 Warrior Classic. Union used tough defense to force SC into 22 turnovers which Union would turn into 24 points, and the Warriors were unable to make a late run to take the lead and seal the game.
Sterling, Kan. - The NAIA has released its first regular season NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Top 25 Poll for the 2010-2011 Season. Sterling College is ranked in the poll at number 12, falling two spots from the preseason poll.
SC has started 5-1 this year with their only loss coming on the road to 22nd ranked Concordia University out of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
