In 2006, Kendra and her husband Joel made a decision to leave the big city lights of Dallas, Texas and follow God’s leading to accept a ministry position in Lyons at First Baptist Church. As they drove to their new home, she couldn’t help but admire the beautiful campus of Sterling College and knew that God had big plans for them in the Midwest. In July 2013, Kendra joined the Sterling College Family serving as the Assistant Registrar. In July 2019 she assumed the role of Registrar. Her favorite moments are the interactions with students and seeing their excitement as they step on campus the first few days of the semester and then to see the pride on their faces as they stay their final walk across the stage at commencement ceremonies.
Kendra graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 and completed her Master of Arts in 2019. The evenings and weekend bring family fun time with her husband and three children: Kennedy, Jace and Gage.  As a passionate college sports fan she looks forward to cheering the Warriors to victories as well as seeing them succeed in their educational goals and spiritual life here at Sterling College.
