Sterling College recognized 25 employees who have completed five or ten years of service to the College during the 2015-16 school year.

Those completing 10 years of service include:

Pam Bradford, housekeeping

Tom Bronleewe, pro-rata assistant professor of theology and ministry

Connie Carey, director of student health

Luke Cureton, director of development

Wai-Foong Hong, associate professor of biology

Dean Jaderston, head men’s basketball coach

Ken Troyer, assistant professor of communications

Three employees were honored for 15 and 20 years of service to Sterling College. Nancy Hicks, Janet Caywood and Deb Wiebe celebrated the achievement at the annual Kickoff Banquet on August 18.

Hicks, administrative assistant for the Sterling Teacher Education Program, began working at the College in 2000. She has a bachelor’s in elementary education, and she taught second grade and junior high and high school choir in Corona, New Mexico. This background, along with her management experience in business, has been beneficial to the education department.

Sterling resident Marge Jones was recognized by Sterling College for 35 years of service at the annual Kickoff Banquet on Aug. 18. Jones serves as the admissions office manager.
