Dodge City, Kan. – Both Sterling College Lady Warrior Golfers that competed in the Dodge City Invitational on Monday and Tuesday finished in the top 10. Katelynn Cantrell finished in 5th while Alexa Pelton finished in 7th. Sterling did not field enough golfers to score as a team.

Cantrell finished the tournament with a 182, shooting a 90 in the first round and a 92 in the second round. The 182 was one shot shy of being tied for 3rd and 12 shots shy of the winner.

Pelton finished the tournament with a 184, shooting a 92 on both days of the tournament. Her 184 was one shot shy of 6th and 14 shots shy of the winner.

Dodge City Community College won the team event with a team score of 718 while Dodge’s Jacie Sheen won the individual tournament with a 170.
