Sterling College will be hosting two receptions this week to introduce new President Dr. Paul Maurer to the surrounding communities.
The first reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 5 after the lady warrior’s home basketball game through halftime of the men’s game (7:30 to 9:00 pm) in the Gleason Center classroom. The second reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 6 at 9 to 11 am in Heritage Hall on the Sterling College campus.
Maurer comes from Deerfield, Ill. where he was serving as the Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement of Trinity International University. His wife, Joellen, and four children plan to move to Sterling this summer. He started his tenure at Sterling on January 8.
