Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Lady Warriors pounded the Bethany College Swedes on Saturday 6-2. SC used 37 shots compared to Bethany's 13 to win in Sterling's fourth consecutive home match.

At the half, the score was tied 1-1 and Bethany took an early second half lead off of a Megan Xavier goal. The Lady Warriors then scored five unanswered goals to win the game 6-2. Goal scorers for SC were Yesenia Garcia, Karina Noah with two goals, Kylie Yates with two goals, and Tiffany Delgado.

The win moves Sterling into a three way tie for third in the KCAC with a 2-2-1 conference record, 7-6-1 overall. SC's next match will be on Wednesday at 2:00pm against McPherson College in the final regular season home match of the 2010 season.
