Wichita, Kan. - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) released its All-Conference Awards during "Championship Monday" at Hartman Arena. Sterling College players and coaches won seven awards highlighted by Coach Dean Jaderston winning KCAC Coach of the Year and Zach Goodrich winning KCAC Player of the Year.

Goodrich and Cody Brazelton were named to the All-KCAC First Team. Trent Stutzman was named to the All-KCAC Defensive Team and All-KCAC Honorable Mention. Darius Alexander was named to the All-KCAC Freshman Team.

Goodrich, a 5'7" senior guard from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was a unanimous selection to the All-KCAC First Team. Zach also received the highest honor in the KCAC, being voted KCAC Player of the Year. On the season, Goodrich is averaging 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.7 steals.

Brazelton, the 6'6" junior forward from Tuttle, Oklahoma, was also a unanimous selection to the All-KCAC First Team. Brazelton is averaging 14.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game.

Stutzman, a 6'0" junior guard from Hutchinson, Kansas, was named All-KCAC Honorable Mention and an All-KCAC Defensive Team member. Stutzman is averaging 13.3 points and 1.8 steals per game. Trent is currently tied with Chris Schneider for the Sterling College single season record for three point field goals with 85.

Alexander, the 5'11" redshirt freshman guard from Little Rock, Arkansas, was named to the All-KCAC Freshman Team. Alexander is averaging 3.4 points per game.

Head Coach Dean Jaderston was named the KCAC Coach of the Year for the second time in his career after leading the Warriors to a KCAC Regular Season and Tournament titles this season.

Sterling won the KCAC regular season title with a 14-4 KCAC record will be representing the KCAC in next week's NAIA Division II Women's National Tournament in Branson, Missouri, on March 9-15, 2011. McPherson College will also be representing the KCAC. The brackets for the upcoming tournament are expected to be announced Wednesday, March 2, by the NAIA.
