The Criminal Justice Program at Sterling College is poised to assist students in preparing for an exciting career in the growing field of criminal justice. The program is designed specifically with students in mind; to prepare them to enter the law enforcement profession upon graduation, or to continue their education in law school or graduate studies. The curriculum has been created in an effort to vigorously expose students to a wide array of criminal justice topics in the classroom, as well as to give students the opportunity to come in contact with professionals in criminal justice through internships and field experiences. The Criminal Justice Program regularly invites to campus and hosts notable individuals within the area of criminal justice, recently including: Ray Roberts, Kansas Secretary of Corrections; Derek Schmidt, Kansas Attorney General; and Caleb Stegall, Kansas Supreme Court Justice.
