Lesa Brown (SC ’97) is thrilled to return to her alma mater. She holds an MA in Theatre Education from Northern Colorado University and has over 30 years of theatre, music, and art teaching and directing experience. She recently was an affiliate professor at Colorado Christian University, taught theatre at the highest-ranking school in Colorado Springs, and runs Awaken Creative Institute, a non-profit dedicated to helping theatre companies bring their communities together. She and her husband Andy (SC ’97) have five children: a college-age daughter, two grown sons, and two new daughters-in-law. As a family, they have lived across the U.S. and overseas, working in church music ministry, missions, media, and the arts.
