Dr. Bill Anderson
Bill is a familiar face to many of us at Sterling College, as he has a rich history with the community of Sterling, as well as the USD 376 School District. Bill comes to us from Canton, KS where he has spent the last few years as Superintendent of Schools for USD 419 Canton-Galva. Prior to that, Bill was the 7-12 Principal for Sterling Jr/Sr High School from 2007 through 2019.
Bill has served as a superintendent, principal, athletic director, teacher, and special education instructor during his tenure in education. Pairing this experience with his strong passion for student learning, he brings a unique skill set to both Sterling College, and the Education Department on campus.
Dr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts; a Master of Arts in School Leadership; endorsements in secondary education, special education, educational administration, and district leadership; and a doctorate in Educational Administration from WSU.
