Chloe Wootton to perform senior recital
Sterling College senior Chloe Wootton will be performing her senior recital in Culbertson Auditorium on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. The event, which will last approximately an hour, is free and open to the public.
For her recital, Wootton will be performing a variety of musical theatre pieces. She will be joined by a few former cast members as she sings pieces from musicals that she has starred in during her time at the College. In addition, Wootton will be performing other musical theatre pieces and will speak to the audience as she moves through the recital.
As a student at Sterling College, Wootton has been highly involved in music and theatre. She has participated in choir and taken the stage for lead roles in plays like “Taming of the Shrew” and musicals such as “South Pacific” and “Godspell.” Wootton also directed “Cosmic Disarray,” written by Cody Martin, to fulfill a requirement for her theatre arts: directing degree.
Wootton is from Norco, California, and is the daughter of Jacquie and Tom Wootton. After graduation, Wootton plans to audition for theatres around the country.
