Sterling College students observe state government in Topeka

The students in State and Local Government class at Sterling College traveled to Topeka on March 10, 2015, to spend a day observing and interacting with state government officials. The students toured the capitol building, attended the afternoon session of the Kansas Senate, talked to Senator Rick Wilborn of District 35, and ate lunch with a lobbyist from the League of Kansas Municipalities.
