U.S. News names Sterling College to Best in Midwest list

U.S. News & World Report awarded Sterling College its highest ranking this year at 60th Best Regional Colleges: Midwest. With increased scores in peer assessment, average freshmen retention rate, and graduation rate, the College has moved up the list seven places from last year.

“U.S. News & World Report has recognized Sterling College for three years in a row and each time it is an award we are proud to accept. Our overall score jumped 14 points this year, marking another accomplishment for us as an institution. We hope that prospective students and parents will schedule a visit day to see that our student experience matches the numbers presented in the data that has qualified us for this honor,” said Scott Rich, president.

Sterling College is fifth highest Kansas school on the Best Regional Colleges: Midwest list. Among the Kansas schools, Sterling has the third highest rates for average freshmen retention and percent of classes under 20.
