Just over a year ago, on March 30, 2009, the Quiznos restaurant in Sterling opened its doors for the first time, and hundreds of college students, excited to eat out without having to get into their cars, lined up to eat. Evidently the hungry kept coming, even after the novelty wore off. During its first year of business Quiznos served approximately 21,000 customers.
