Summer term tuition break for Sterling College Online
Lowering tuition prices on online summer classes is causing students to take a second look at their summer plans. With over 60 percent off of the regular price, classes through Sterling College Online are $135 per credit hour for the summer 2014 sessions.
“Our Sterling College Online classes are ideal for many students can who need general education credits. They can complete their coursework at any time of the day, allowing them to work a summer job and move closer to completing their degree. They will also work with the professors they already know and are familiar with,” said Piper Harding, director of admissions for SCO.
“The classes we are offering don’t just apply to Sterling College students. High school students can start working on their college education before finishing high school, saving tuition money and allowing flexibility in their schedule once they arrive at college. The credits may also transfer to other colleges and universities, making them a great option for current and future college students across the country,” said Harding.
The six-week courses that are available include: Environmental Science, Public Speaking, Concepts of Physical Fitness and Health, American Government, U.S. History 1, College Composition, Introduction to Literature, Contemporary Math, Music Appreciation and Introduction to Old Testament. The application deadline is May 2. Summer Session 1 runs from May 19-July 6, and Summer Session 2 is July 7-Aug. 24. For more information, contact Sterling College Online at 620-278-4461.
