Sterling College Online Learning announces affordable summer classes
For the summer of 2022, Sterling College is offering all general education courses for the low price of $145 per credit hour. The list of classes has been released with classes beginning May 10 and June 28. Visit online.sterling.edu/summer-discount-class-offerings/ for information.
“We are excited to offer private, Christian education to students in an online, asynchronous format at such an affordable rate. This is a wonderful opportunity for learners to make continued progress toward their degree, for incoming students to get a jump start toward their degree, to recover credits, or for anyone to take a class just for fun,” said Dr. Erin Laudermilk, associate vice president for academic affairs.
The first summer session runs from May 10 - June 27. Classes offered are Environmental Science with lab, Principles of Sociology, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Public Speaking, Web Design & Production, World and Regional Geography, US History I, College Composition I, Contemporary Math, Leadership, Introduction to the Old Testament and Introduction to the New Testament. The add/drop deadline is May 16 and withdrawal deadline is June 6 at 5 p.m. CT.
The second session runs from June 28 - August 15. Classes offered in this session are Introduction to Film Studies, US History II, Concepts of Physical Fitness and Health, College Composition II, Introduction to Literature, Music Appreciation, Business and Society, Physical Science with lab, American Government and Basic Christian Doctrine. The add/drop deadline is July 1 and withdrawal deadline is July 25 at 5 p.m. CT.
Those interested in qualifying for the $145 tuition cost should enroll before April 29, and those already enrolled at Sterling College should consult their adviser.
