Sterling College named to “Most Beautiful” list by Christian Universities Online

Monday, December 7, 2015

Sterling College has been repeatedly recognized for its academics and affordability, but now the College is receiving accolades for a different reason: the beauty of its campus. Sterling College was recently ranked number nine on “The 50 Most Beautiful Christian Colleges & Universities in the U.S. 2016” list released by Christian Universities Online.

“We take great pride in our campus and we view taking care of our physical buildings is an act of stewardship. However, as beautiful as this campus is, our people are our biggest asset at Sterling College. The faculty and staff that serve our student body and community are what truly set Sterling apart,” said Scott Rich, president.

Christian Universities Online evaluated and ranked schools that are members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities based off of four criteria: continuity of campus, architectural style, signature buildings and natural setting. Sterling College campus was commended for its unique buildings—particularly Cooper Hall—that blend contemporary and classic architectural styles. The layout and design of campus was also appreciated for its continuity.
