SC ranks 29 for Best Value Christian Colleges and Universities

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

Making its debut appearance, Sterling College was ranked 29 in the top 50 Best Value Christian Colleges and Universities by Christian Universities Online. Colleges on the list are accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools or a member/affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.

The list was formed using two calculations: a ratio of quality to price and overall discount. Data was taken from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics.

“We always break down the difference between price and cost for prospective students and parents – a big factor in choosing which school to attend. With strong communication between admissions and financial aid, many of our Sterling College families are happy with how affordable a private Christian education can be,” said Dennis Dutton, director of admissions.

Every one of Sterling’s 600-plus full-time students receive a scholarship and financial aid.

Sterling College is the highest ranked Kansas Christian college on the Best Value Christian College and Universities list. The only other Kansas school is Kansas City-based MidAmerica Nazarene University.
