Point Lookout, MO - The Sterling College Warriors battled and nearly beat the Eagles of Oklahoma Wesleyan University in a two day marathon that spanned Thursday night and Friday morning. In the overtime game, OWU's Sadiel Rojas single handedly lead the Eagles to victory scoring 42 points and pulling down 23 rebounds in the 81-82 loss for Sterling. Zach Goodrich led the Warriors in his final game for Sterling College, scoring 19 points and pulling down three rebounds to cap off a phenomenal career.

Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Warrior baseball team opened up the 2011 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) regular season with three wins over the McPherson College Bulldogs, a first year baseball program. Sterling won one game on Friday in McPherson 3-0 and won two games in Sterling on Saturday 10-0 and 11-1. The two will face off in the fourth game of the home and home series today at 5:00 pm in McPherson.
Sterling, Kan. - The Sterling College Lady Warriors have drawn the Vikings of Valley City State University from North Dakota. Valley City State is the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) Tournament Champion with an overall record of 23-8 and is currently ranked at no. 19 in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Sterling is the four seed in the fourth bracket and will play on Wednesday, March 9 at 9:15 pm at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Sterling College players and coaches won 11 awards highlighted by Coach Lonnie Kruse winning KCAC Coach of the Year and Britany Gasper winning KCAC Player of the Year.
