On November 12 Sterling College and Hutchinson Community College announced an articulation agreement that guarantees the transfer of credits between the two institutions. Sterling College's Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Troy Peters and HCC President Dr. Edward Berger signed the agreement. "For transfer students, there is always the concern that some credits will not transfer," said Peters. "This agreement takes away that concern."

Dr. Paul J. Maurer, Sterling College president, and Andrew Tash and Ken Troyer, both assistant professors in the communications department, have spoken at formal occasions recently, and Dr. Brad Nix, chair of the music department, has had another composition accepted for publication.

"Psychology tastes so good!" This was the reaction of the Sterling Academy students after they acted as guinea pigs for Sterling College's general psychology class. Why did they respond that way? The College students gave them treats and candy to thank them for being such willing test subjects.

This experience made me realize I take a lot for granted. It has made me more thankful for what I have in my life," said Tori Swenson of Yoder, Kan.
"My perspectives of the poor changed, and I realized it is the little things that really help," said Vance Stegman of Lyons, Kan.
