Peacemakers Convocation to feature Christen Price
The annual Peacemakers Convocation at Sterling College will feature speaker Christen Price, legal counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom. Price will deliver her speech at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 in Culbertson Auditorium in Spencer Hall. The public is invited to attend this free event.
Price serves as a member of the Religious Schools Team of the Alliance Defending Freedom, where she has worked since 2015. Her team works on protecting the religious freedom of faith-based educational institutions and their ability to form communities around shared religious commitments.
Before working for the Alliance Defending Freedom, Price served as an attorney for Wiley Rein, LLP. She served as a Blackstone Fellow in 2010, serving at Peace and Reconciliation Ministry in Africa. Price has also worked toward legislation on human trafficking, child exploitation, domestic minor sex trafficking victims, gender-based violence, drug trafficking, and financial crimes with the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division and Shared Hope International.
Price earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in Philosophy at Cedarville University.
