Biederer, Warriors Finish in Fourth at Home Tournament

Hutchinson, Kan. – Beautiful weather accompanied the Sterling College Warrior Golf Team to the Highlands Golf Course in Hutchinson for the Sterling Spring Invitational Golf Tournament. Ben Biederer was the top scorer for the Warrior Men in the tournament, finishing fourth in the tournament with a two round total of 151, three strokes back of the champion. As a team, SC finished in fourth with a team score of 641 behind Southwestern College, Bethel College, and Bethany College. Alexa Pelton and Katelynn Cantrell were the only two Lady Warriors to compete and finished tied with each other for fifth place on the women’s side.

Students and Professor Give Presentations at the Kansas Academy of Science

The Sterling College Biology Department was recently represented at the Kansas Academy of Science Annual Meeting held in Baldwin City, Kan., on April 8-9. Two students, Leonore Enfield of Raymond, Kan., and Tyler Wise of Clearwater, Kan., gave a research presentation titled, “Effects of Prairie Restoration on Small Mammals.”

SC Graduate Stars in New ABC Show

Windell Middlebrooks, a Sterling College alumnus, recently debuted in his first role as a regular on the new ABC series “Body of Proof.” Middlebrooks is certainly is not new to television as his recognizable face has been seen on the Disney Channel television series “The Suite Life on Deck” and in national advertisements as the Miller High Life Delivery Man.

Theatre Presents “12 Angry Jurors” This Weekend

Sterling, Kan. – In a Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) match-up against the Bulldogs from McPherson College, the Sterling College Lady Warriors split two games with McPherson. The Lady Warriors were victorious in the first game, winning in a very quick contest 1-0 then lost in the second half of the double header by a score of 5-6.

Warrior Track & Field Adds More Highlights to the Season at the Enduro Classic

Wichita, Kan. - The Sterling College Warrior Track & Field Team continued their early season success with another solid performance this past Saturday at the Friends University Enduro Classic in Wichita, KS. The Warriors finished the day with eight top three finishers and a total of four event champions.

Summer Term Session Now Open to High School Students
