The renovations done to Cornerstone in the Student Union over the summer were in hopes of bringing more student activity. That has been proven to be the
case as students have been able to utilize Cornerstone to enjoy events such as Cookie Day and Kahvista.

Cookie Day is a Sterling College tradition started by Ron and Shirley Baxter that, by popular demand, has carried on past their moving away from Sterling. Kahvista is a Campus Activities Board event where coffee and snacks are provided for students to enjoy while watching fellow students perform music, poetry and other talents.
