Cloverton to play at Sterling College Love Sterling

Friday, April 7, 2017

This year’s Love Sterling celebration will end with a concert by Cloverton, a contemporary Christian band out of Manhattan, Kansas. The concert will take place on East Cooper Lawn at 7 p.m., weather permitting. The Love Sterling planning committee sees this as one more way to give back to the community that supports the College year-round, therefore, the concert is free and open to the public.

Cloverton scored the most downloaded song in the history of K-LOVE radio for their first single “Take Me into the Beautiful,” and in 2011, they were the first-ever Rock The Camp contest winners hosted by TobyMac and Camp Electric.

For questions or to sign up to volunteer for Love Sterling, contact Erica Foss by calling 620-278-4213.

Project requests will be taken through Friday, April 21, and donations of supplies or money for supplies can be dropped off in Cooper Hall at Erica Foss’ office directly inside the west doors of the building. They should be labeled with a name and phone number to ensure their return after April 29. Any items that are broken while being used by Love Sterling volunteers will be replaced. Specific needs currently include hand saws, a weed eater, a chainsaw and ladders.
