Eight national youth organizations joined together with national and local youth ministry leaders to discuss ministry methods and communication strategies that best reach middle school and high school students. Sterling College’s Jenny Bradley ’02, director of ministry teams, joined the summit to know how to better equip her ministry teams students as they develop into professionals trained to reach young adults.

“Accelerate was intentionally designed to be a round-table event where we would connect, dream and share ideas with national leaders in ministry. It was an important time to collaborate on reaching students for Christ. The 180 leaders around the room prayed for students and each other, worshipped our triune God, and asked the Holy Spirit to guide us as we sought a common strategy for student ministry in the coming years. It was a beneficial time to connect with leaders from all over the country and to seek God on behalf of the young adults in our regions,” said Bradley.

Fellow alumnus Daryl Nuss ’71 is the executive director and CEO of National Network of Youth Ministries, and was involved in planning the event.
