6th annual Love Sterling is requesting projects

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

The 6th Annual Love Sterling event will take place on April 25. Students, faculty and staff of Sterling College will spread throughout the town to help community members with projects that need completed in an effort to give back to the people that support the College year-round.

“The Love Sterling planning committee is collecting projects for this year’s Love Sterling event. We would like to invite the community to request projects that we can help with or donate supplies. Projects can be anything from painting, to yard work, to clearing brush and landscaping. We are willing to tackle just about anything, as long as it can be completed in a day,” said event coordinator Erica Tremaine, administrative receptionist and office manager for Sterling College.

The deadline for requesting a project is Friday, April 10. Forms are available to request a project or to volunteer by visiting www.sterling.edu/love-sterling. Projects can also be requested by phone by calling Erica Tremaine at (620) 278-2173. To donate supplies and for any questions, please contact Tremaine.

The annual Celebration Dinner after Love Sterling will be held at Sterling Lake with music and games beginning at 5 p.m. A free dinner for the Sterling community will be served at 6 p.m. by Chartwells, the College’s dining service.
