“Taming of the Shrew” opens Thursday at Sterling College
Tickets will be available show nights at the Sterling College box office in Spencer Hall at 7 p.m., and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students, children and seniors.
The play focuses on sisters Katherina and Bianca, and their interactions with various men that come to court them. Petruchio arrives and weds the headstrong shrew, Katherina, and attempts to make her into an obedient wife. Bianca, on the other hand, is a willing participant in getting married. The comedy ends with a competition of who is the most obedient, a true test of the relationships between lovers.
