Kansas City, Mo. - The Sterling College Women's Basketball Team will start the 2010-2011 season ranked in the top 10 of the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Sterling will begin the season ranked tenth after finishing 14th in the 2009-2010 Final NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Joining the Lady Warriors in the Poll is KCAC rival Kansas Wesleyan University. The Coyotes are ranked 15th overall, five spots behind SC.

The Lady Warriors will open up their season on November 6th on the road in York, Nebraska against York College. Game time is 4:00 pm.
