Taylor Stucky and Reid Goffigon to perform junior recital

Two Sterling College juniors, Taylor Stucky and Reid Goffigon, will perform recitals at the Sterling United Presbyterian Church on Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29. The public is invited to attend both free events.

Stucky will perform his junior recital at the Sterling United Presbyterian Church on Monday. The flute recital will begin at 7 p.m. He will perform classical flute music and sing one musical theatre piece, accompanied by Dr. Brad Nix, associate professor of music. Stucky is from Pretty Prairie, Kan., and is the son of Roy and Janis Stucky.

Goffigon will perform his junior recital at the Sterling United Presbyterian Church on Tuesday. The vocal and guitar recital will begin at 7 p.m. He will sing a set of art songs: two Italian arias by Scarlatti, four English songs, one German lieder, and one French melodie, all accompanied on the piano by Nix. He will also cover two folk songs on guitar. Goffigon is from San Carlos, Calif., and is the son of Jill Jacobson and Rob Goffigon.
