Heritage Convocation to honor the past 125 years

Thursday, November 1, 2012

The annual Heritage Convocation will take place on Friday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. in Culbertson Auditorium. Every year Sterling takes time to remember its past, and this year the special tribute to the school’s history will include a presentation about historical events at the College and music from the SC Chorale. The event is free and open to the public.

“The Heritage Convocation this year is going to focus on the highlights from our history that are significant to where we are today and interesting to the students,” said Amy Thompson, director of alumni relations. “We will cover our past College presidents, how we survived the Great Depression, and pranks that have taken place.”
